v1.5.2 - DPI scaling fixes

@github-actions github-actions released this 16 May 11:42

Hello! Small release that fixed broken DPI scaling (when scale is not set to 100%).
Small oversight on my part when I threw away all the .MSIX stuff. 😅

Enjoy!

Hey everyone!

It’s been a little while since the last update, university has been keeping me busy with my thesis coming up.

Despite that, I’ve got some exciting changes to share!

First off, settings are finally here and fully functional, including support for exit nodes. 🎉
Probably even more importantly, I’ve moved away from MSIX packaging: the app now uses Velopack to bundle and auto-update.
This should make installations less error prone and inspire a bit more confidence because you don't have to use a sketchy installer or trust my root CA.

Just a heads-up: the auto-updater is still pretty basic. Errors will be silent for now, and there’s no manual update check or opt-out option yet.

Thanks for your patience, and I hope this update finds you well. More to come soon!

v1.3.0

Minor changes!
Settings will now display the current version installed, the app icons should hopefully now actually exist (still need to improve the scaling on some of them!), and the installer should actually work.

Enjoy!

This version (albeit a bit odd to not start at v1) marks the first version of Tailscale Client!
Due to various Microsoft guidelines I decided to publish directly on GitHub instead of the store: this means however that a code signing certificate is required to properly sign and distribute this.
Due to me not wanting to pay too much for a certificate, this is self signed, and you will need to install the .cer file manually.

Alternatively, the .exe installer will take care of that for you, but requires administrator rights to install the machine into the LocalMachine/TrustedPeople store.
