Using a mutable branch reference (master) for a remote $ref creates a supply-chain and reproducibility risk: schema validation behavior can change over time without any chart changes. Prefer pinning the URL to an immutable ref (tag or commit SHA), or vendoring the schema locally and referencing it via a repository path so CI/installations don’t depend on fetching remote content.
