💡 What: Optimized all image assets by converting them to WebP format, resizing them to appropriate dimensions, and updating HTML/CSS to support them.
🎯 Why: To reduce page load size and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP and CLS). The original images were large PNG/JPGs without dimension attributes.
📊 Impact: Reduced total image payload size significantly (e.g., Hero image 792KB -> 91KB). Added loading="lazy" to off-screen images and fetchpriority="high" to the hero image. Added explicit width/height to prevent layout shifts.
🔬 Measurement: Verified visually using Playwright screenshot and manual inspection of file sizes.
