Introduction

This page documents design decisions, tools, workflows, and open needs for the Compass design function. It supports onboarding, design continuity, and effective collaboration with engineering and product.

Design Goals & Responsibilities

• The Compass UI is accessible, intuitive, and fast to use (especially for Paras on mobile).
• CMs can navigate and manage a student's caseload.
• Visualizations are meaningful and usable for progress tracking.
• The experience reflects the current experiences of CMs and Para-Educators.
