crates.io 0.4.0 release

Hello, first of all I want to say thank you for making this library, its working brilliantly with the stm32h7.
I would like to create an MR with the stm32h7xx-hal project incorporating this library with its sdmmc interface.

Currently I'm using this in Cargo:

fatfs = { default-features = false, optional = true, git = "https://github.com/rafalh/rust-fatfs" }

but to publish the HAL on crates.io I would need use a crates.io release of fatfs. I tried downgrading to 0.3.6 but the Seek traits seem to be missing. I'm wondering what the release schedule for this next version is? If its not for a while I will attempt to adapt the code so the Seek trait isn't required.

I'm also looking forward to a 0.4.0 release, to pick up the nice byteorder removal in 62dbddf .

Just wanted to start using this library today as well and stumbled across the same issue, especially since the README even refers to the inexistant 0.4.0 version multiple times. Is there any chance of pushing a new release, @rafalh ? Or is there any sort of blocking issue where assistance would be needed?

Besides, the example in the docs of the 0.4.0 version of this crate does not compile.

Is there anything that still needs to be done for a new version to be released? If so I'd be happy to help contribute.

Check out simple-fatfs. Does a lot of the same things but more no-std friendly.

Hi. simple-fatfs's maintainer there. It is true that simple-fatfs is more no-std friendly (it even has dedicated BlockRead and BlockWrite traits), however the latest crates.io is a bit behind compared to the Git repo. If anyone is interested, they can open an issue over at simple-fatfs's repo and I can publish another alpha version.

I'm also using the github link version currently.

If version 0.4.0 is not ready yet, perhaps an intermediate 0.3.x with LFN feature could be released? :)
