otterdeploy: the own-your-infra deployment platform

Push to git, get a deploy — on servers you control. otterdeploy builds git-sourced services, runs them behind a managed Caddy edge with automatic TLS, and gives you a live project graph, logs, metrics, and backups from a dashboard that stays calm, fast, and honest about system state. Our projects

  • otterdeploy — the platform: build worker, Caddy edge, dashboard, and the otterdeploy CLI

What it does

  • Git-sourced services — a build worker builds images with Railpack and rolls them out to Docker/Swarm
  • Databases — one-click Postgres, Redis, MariaDB, MongoDB, ClickHouse, RabbitMQ, MinIO, and Meilisearch
  • Compose stacks — deploy multi-service docker-compose projects as a single resource
  • Edge & networking — multi-domain routing, automatic TLS, and Vercel-style deployment protection
  • PR previews — per-pull-request deployments with database branching and idle garbage collection
  • Operations — build and edge logs, metrics, scheduled backups, notification channels, and org-scoped RBAC

Status: under active development. Interfaces and schemas still change without migration paths — not yet recommended for production workloads.
