I'm not a solar technician, and I don't even play one on TV. At the very least watch some tutorial videos for the type of solar install you want to do (shed, roof, etc).
You'll need strain-reliefed UV resistant cabling outside. You'll want to look up the optimal panel angle for your latitude (see here for instance). You'll need a method of mounting and routing cabling. I'm not an expert on this... small-electronics-sized things are my forte.
