Hello and welcome

I am Omar Najjar, a postdoctoral researcher in civil engineering with a strong interest in numerical simulation, scientific computing, and multiphysics modeling.

  • I am currently working on finite element, discrete element, and CFD workflows for crack modeling and leakage assessment in reinforced concrete structures.
  • I am currently strengthening my skills in scientific software development, meshing workflows, and Python-based tools for numerical simulation.
  • I am interested in collaborating on projects related to scientific computing, numerical simulation, mesh generation, and engineering software development.
  • I am always interested in improving software engineering practices, code structuring, and the professional development of scientific tools.
  • Feel free to ask me about Python for scientific computing, numerical simulation, FEM/DEM/CFD workflows, crack modeling, and post-processing tools.
  • How to reach me: omarnaj1996@hotmail.com | omar.najjar@ens-paris-saclay.fr LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/omar-najjar-34b628194
  • I am particularly motivated by developing tools that connect advanced numerical methods with practical engineering applications.
