In addition to the jobs installing it in a virtual environment.
This is something that a lot of users do, so we should test it as well in CI.
Also a lot users do this in "desktop" Ubuntu (and other linux distros), so having this should also help cover that. This Raspbian image running on Qemu is actually a lot closer to "desktop Ubuntu" than the Ubuntu boxes on CI or the standard Ubuntu docker images, as those have their environment modified for a different purpose than normal desktop use (docker images are slimmed down, and CI images are beefed up with more dev tooling).
This PR is currently targetting the
makebranch (PR #1959) as it needs those changes merged first, but once it's merged this PR should re-target master.
