I have painstakingly manually edited a pure copy of "Big Shark, Little Shark, Baby Shark." Its uploaded now in Binary. I will now have to refine the other copy of the same book, then compare both good copies. I hope they match without any differences. I am unsure where to go if there are genuine differences between the two (not due to me being dumb and injecting errors).
A list of changes is catalogued in DiffSheet.xls
UPDATE:
I was anticipating that the second dump set would be just as convoluted. However, all 5 copies were exactly the same when I diffed them! Horray! Further to my surprise, the second dump and the refined first dump were also exactly the same! Such a sigh of relief...
I now have evidence to suggest that I have purified the cartridge data for "Big Shark, Little Shark, Baby Shark" and purged the noise out.
Now I must complete another 10-fold gold standard, then diff the 10-fold gold-standards to see what is truly different between each cartridge.
The next one on my list is the "Tawny,Scrawny Lion," and its such a mess -- so much noise to sort through. Luckily, I may be able to simply delete quite a few of the differences as they will be point mutations of one file only. I hope its that simple...
