Milestones
List view
This milestone is about refactoring the blindr source code to both run on the Pico W and make use of the wirless capabilities of the uC. Some [requirements, details] about this milestone: 1. The GNSS module and all its code can and should be removed in place of wireless connectivity. Setting the latitude, longitude, and resetting the Pico's RTC should no happen over WiFi or bluetooth. This will reduce the BOM of the project by around $10. 2. A plan for interacting with the pico W needs to be hashed out. When/if bluetooth support becomes available in the SDK, a choice of WiFi or Bluetooth can be made. 3. new features can be added that simply aren't possible in the current non-wireless rendition of this project. Things like manipulating blinds with your phone from anywhere via a web server, or tying your blinds to open at the same time as your morning alarm, etc. There are lots of fun possibilities, though the infrastructure needs to be in place (this milestone).
