📋 What is pitch-deck?

pitch-deck is a program that helps you create and show slide presentations. It works on Windows and lets you use a ready-made deck called American Nail. This demo uses slides with different designs, charts, images, and text blocks.

pitch-deck lets you:

  • Show slides with smooth animations.
  • Log in with just your email (no password needed).
  • Keep track of how many people view your slides.
  • Manage users and see slide details in an admin panel.
  • Share files safely.
  • Use invite links to give others access.
  • Use on both computer and mobile with easy controls.

You do not need any special skills to use pitch-deck.

  1. Click the link above. It will open the GitHub releases page for pitch-deck.
  2. On that page, look for the latest version of pitch-deck for Windows. The file usually ends with .exe.
  3. Click on the Windows file name to start downloading.
  4. Wait for the download to finish.

💻 Installing pitch-deck on Windows

  1. Find the file you downloaded. It is usually in your Downloads folder.
  2. Double-click the file to start the installation.
  3. If Windows asks for permission, click Run or Yes.
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen. Usually, you just need to click Next several times.
  5. When the installation finishes, click Finish.

pitch-deck is now installed on your computer.


▶️ Running pitch-deck for the First Time

  1. Open pitch-deck from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut.
  2. You will see the login screen.
  3. Enter your email address to get a magic login link. This means no password is needed.
  4. Check your email inbox and find the message from pitch-deck.
  5. Click the link in the email to log in.
  6. Once logged in, you will see the demo slides called American Nail.
  7. Use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to move between slides.
  8. You can also use the mouse or tap arrows if you run pitch-deck on a tablet or touchscreen.

🔍 How to Use pitch-deck Features

Slide Animations

The slides show smooth animations like bars growing or images appearing. Wait a moment on each slide to see the animation fully.

Session Tracking

pitch-deck counts how many people have watched each slide. This happens automatically and helps you understand which slides get more attention.

Admin Dashboard

If you have access, open the admin dashboard from the main menu. You can:

  • Invite others by sending email invites.
  • See who is watching the slides.
  • Manage access permissions.
  • View download statistics for shared files.

Data Room

You can share files securely inside pitch-deck. Only invited users can download these files. The system also counts file downloads.

Responsive Design

pitch-deck works both on desktop computers and mobile devices. On phones, the screen locks to landscape mode, and you can tap to move between slides.


⚙️ System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or newer.
  • At least 4 GB of RAM.
  • 2 GHz or faster processor.
  • Internet connection for login and downloads.
  • Email account to receive magic links.

🛠 Troubleshooting

  • If you do not get a login email, check your spam folder.
  • Make sure you have an active internet connection when logging in.
  • If the program does not open, try running it as Administrator.
  • For performance issues, close other heavy applications.
  • Contact the admin who gave you access if your invite link does not work.
