I think it would make sense to add the LF training, but not the KodeKloud training. There are a ton of 3rd-party training resources available, and I don't think we could fairly include everyone who wanted to be included without overcrowding the site.

Thanks for looking at this @crenshaw-dev. I see many CNCF tools and projects which have included the 3rd party training and learning resources to their website for giving learners wide range of options. Example:
That's why I thought, it would be great to add diverse learning platforms on ArgoCD, to increase the visibility and adoptability of the platform. What's your thoughts on this ? |

Like @crenshaw-dev, I think LC/CNCF training is fine, third-party, less so. Id think that anyone looking for training and/or support would have no issues finding it anyway, without us having to maintain a list. |

I also have concerns with the project deciding what is a high-quality course to include in the list and what is not. Basically, I feel the project had to evaluate each course instead of trusting the creators in order for them to be included on an official project website, thereby effectively endorsing the content. So, +1 to linking CNCF/LF resources and courses, because they've been developed together with the project. But I do have my reservations (not a strong objection) against linking other corporate and/or private resources. IMO, https://github.com/akuity/awesome-argo might be a good place for vendors to promote their courses. |
Summary
This PR adds two new high-quality training resources to the Argo website’s Trainings & Certifications page:
