ENRAM data repository

This is a release for archival purposes. It contains the following items that were developed by INBO for the projects ENRAM and GloBAM:

1. Code to transfer vertical profile data files from an FTP server to an AWS S3 bucket (schema.svg) and package those in monthly zip files. This code (file_transfer, transfer_2022 and example_data) ran on an AWS EC2 instance. It has since been replaced by / incorporated in the vptstools Python package.
2. The ENRAM data repository for vertical profiles of birds website. This one-page website (index.html, assets/css, assets/js) provided a browse interface to the AWS S3 bucket. It also showed a calendar heatmap visualization with the data coverage for radar/years. The website was operational from 2017 to 2023. It has since been replaced by https://aloftdata.eu/browse/
