Hi, I'm Baran 👋

I am an AI and Data Engineer. I graduated with a degree in Artificial Intelligence Engineering from Hacettepe University. I have been deeply interested in Natural Language Processing (NLP) since 2022, an interest that naturally grew into my current work building systems with LLMs. Today, I build AI architectures and the data pipelines that make them work. I like building real products that people actually use.


What I’m doing now

  • Posecode: Building a kinematic human motion DSL and WebGL engine for LLMs to generate and render 3D movements in real-time.
  • Picus Security: I work as an AI and Data Engineer at this Turkey-founded, San Francisco-based startup that is on its way to becoming a unicorn.
  • PromptArena: I started a platform where people can practice negotiation against AI.
  • FlyingPapers: I am building an AI platform to collect and process official documents like visas and contracts.

Tech I use

  • AI: I build AI agents and systems using the OpenAI and Claude models. To connect and monitor everything, I use tools like Amazon Bedrock , Langfuse. Claude Code for development.
  • Data: I use Python, SQL, and AWS to move and clean large amounts of data.
  • Web: I build apps with Next.js, FastAPI, and WebSockets.
