US banking giant Wells Fargo has sacked a number of employees following claims that staff were faking keyboard activity to fool the company into thinking they were working at home when they were not.
As reported here 14 June 2024.
Use a file-and-folder-based TouchLCDMacropad with more than one million macros - which can be even further expanded through linked macro-lists - to simulate (almost) any type of PC-based work, and being a trusted hardware device, also bypass detection algorithms for software-based-automation-tools such as AutoIt and Power-Automate. A Visual Studio C# mimic of the Touch macropad, with additional configuration and control functions, is also in development, as shown below in images 4 to 7. The PC application showcases the Pico MacroPad’s nKeys multiple indirection capability via its automatic application-switching control. A wide range of plug-in modules will be added in the future, and the first three of these, namely a macropad and PC App set of functions to control and configure CircuitPython devices, multiple I²C RGB rotary encoders, and three types of Microchip I²C GPIO expanders, have been completed.
This FT6336 capacitive touch RP2350B (A4) LCD ST7796 of choice, also has an ES8311 audio codec that can play large 16bit PCM files saved on the SDCard. If the group of auto-folder nKeys are used to trigger the selection and playing, then 100,000 3-second sound files (ideal for bird calls)
can be stored in less than 15 GB of a 32 GB SD card. The version that includes a case is thin at 12mm, and is usable when lying flat. Use the rotate 180 control code *ro* to have the USB cable on the right-hand side - no calibration is required for the FT6336 touch controller used in this LCD. I²C peripherals are plugged into the 32 pin expander at the bottom of the flat-cased version, and at the back of the upright case. The LCD's integrated APX2101 PMIC and PCF85063A RTC, can use a cheap button-cell RTC battery, and also a standard rechargeable Raspberry Pi 5 RTC Panasonic ML-2020 Lithium Manganese dioxide battery, and the time sync is automatic via the PC App. The PMIC can provide voltage and charge information using the starcodes *ic*5,6,7. It is a quick and easy direct order from Waveshare at $25 to $32. Local suppliers vary from about R 800 to R 1300: 1 2 3 4 - prices 21 July 2026.
Similarly, a number of Waveshare RP2350 Plus with steppping A4 16 MB Flash development boards, have been obtained, again directly from Waveshare at a cost similar to what the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 with unknown stepping, are being sold for locally. As expected, it is a direct improved replacement for the Pico 2 when used with the 3.5 inch resistive touch IPS LCD. The 16MB NOR Flash is made by Puya Semiconductor PY25Q128HA.
Also works with, or use, all of the non-banned and banned, major product-lines from Raspberry Pi Holdings PLC RPI, Raspberry Pi and Raspberry Pi Foundation.
