Supported AC Units

The ESPHome controller should be compatible with LG AC indoor units that support the LG PREMTB100 and/or LG PREMTA200 controller.

List of success stories from users:

• LG PC12SQ (Standard Plus), AP09RT units connected to a multi-split outdoor unit (heat pump, MU2R17 Multi F).

LG Naming Convention

LG air conditioning splits have a naming convention for most indoor and outdoor units. It generally follows this:

• The first two or three letters designate a commercial model (S for "Standard", DC for "Deluxe", LMU for "DUALCOOL" and so on)
• The two or three numbers for cooling power in kW or BTU (09 means 0.9 kW, 18 means 1.8 kW, 090 for 9,000 BTU and so on)
• The final two/three letters to designate a model variant

Some other types of AC units or older ones might not follow this, but it is true for any reasonably modern AC unit that uses the supported LG wall controller
