PTP support for MCXN series

Hello,

I would like to implement PTP (IEEE 1588) in my project using the NXP MCXN947. However, it seems that the drivers for this feature are not ready yet.

Is there a plan to add PTP support for the NXP MCXN947 in the near future?

Correct, today the Ethernet driver eth_nxp_enet_qos used on the MCXN platforms does not support PTP. That support is in NXP's backlog, but today I do not have a schedule for this feature.

I'm also looking to enable PTP on the MCXN947 but just discovered that it isn't supported yet.

Is there an extimate for when the driver update will become available?

Thanks for raising this. It's still tracked in our backlog and hasn't scheduled yet. We'll post an update once there's progress or a change in priority.
