[BUG]: Video sorting inside channel not working

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Long press on any video > Open Channel
2. Along the 1st row of icons, press the "Gear" icon next to search bar
3. In the past, a pop-up window appears, with 3 sorting options (by oldest, newest, popular), however, the pop-up windows no longer appears, starting early Feb. 2026

Actual behavior

No response

I was using 30.75, it worked just fine, but all of sudden, the bug appeared since a week ago, upgrading to 30.82 didn't fix the issue

I'm having this problem too, on both an NVIDIA Shield and a Sony Bravia TV. I tried downgrading to 30.64 but that didn't help. I checked an old Firestick I have, too, which has 26.75 and it has the problem as well.

This is a consistent bug that creeps back into a release every few months for a couple of years now. Sonething just keeps breaking the search/sort in channel feature.
