Widget is slow to render when loading icalander data

Describe the bug
Widget View takes 10 to 20 seconds to render following import of Icalender data. If I disable the dataloading then there is no significant delay. If I use a basic view there is no delay. Tested on mobile and laptop.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Go to https://kitst.co.uk/icsfeedw/
2. then count seconds before events display. ( I have created a few test events for December 2025)
3. compare with https://kitst.co.uk/icsfeed/

Expected behaviour
Ideally the Widget would be as quick to load and render as the normal views

Additional context
Basic views load and render quickly so the issue seems to be within the widget as the same delay occurs on laptop and on mobile device.
I had hoped to use the widget on mobile devices and a standard view on laptop.
