Custom context menu entries

Hello, and thanks for this great library!

I would like to ask about the most up-to-date recommended way to add custom menu options in specific nodes of phylotree.js. I noticed that in 2016 (#20), there was a suggestion to use d3_add_custom_menu, but since 2021 there is a newer (but undocumented) exported function called addCustomMenu.

Is this the intended approach going forward? If so, would it be possible to include it in the official documentation so other users can discover and use it more easily?

Hi Nuno! I'm not one of the core developers (just a very happy user!). I've just opened a PR with some basic documentation for addCustomMenu (#521) -- please have a look, see if that helps, and feel free to modify that PR or leave comments if you have suggestions for improvement. Hi @gaurav, thanks, this helps! It would also be good to add that info in https://github.com/veg/phylotree.js/blob/master/API.md with an example.

However, the fact that is not directly exportable (e.g., import { addCustomMenu } from "phylotree";) makes me think the author is not ready to make it to the public API yet.

Good point -- we have to use import { addCustomMenu } from "phylotree/src/render/menus"; -- I didn't notice that!
