Cache problem for non-masterlanguage sites.

It seems like cache used by DbLocalizationProvider for non-master languages is sometimes becoming stale or being evicted. We then must clean cache in the admin UI for the texts in DbLocalizationProvider to be shown.

can you describe case a bit more in details? is translation failing then? you see resource key instead?

We have a optimizely multilanguage-site hosted in DXP and use dblocalizationprovider (latest version), after deploy we need to clear cache to get the language-strings on the non-masterlanguages but masterlanguage works as expected. Lately the other languages disappear in production when there has been no deployment, but everything is ok if we clear cache in dblocalizationprovider UI. We dont see resource key, it seems like the languange string is just null until we clear cache. Its not a daily problem but seems to happen irregularly

@valdisiljuconoks I think we've got the same problem as @siljesle mentioned above.

Example:

Our default culture is 'en' and we're trying to retrieve it-it translations by using the following endpoint : /epitranslations?json=true&lang=it-it

Which is configured in startup

}

Unfortunately we receive the default 'en' translations.
Only upon clicking 'Clean cache' in backoffice, the it-it translations are returned (for a while).

@valdisiljuconoks i've been debugging the package code and I noticed that this piece of code causes issues with 'culture-region' cultures.

The bug is fixed when I update the code to this:

return this.FirstOrDefault(t => t.Language.Equals(language, StringComparison.InvariantCultureIgnoreCase));
