Current UI doesn't communicate pipeline configuration intuitively. Feedback from user's:
- Users struggle to locate the gear icon.
- The first page of the advanced settings menu could take you back to the original landing page/wizard page.
- When navigating settings I should be able to save without re-running.
- Each pipeline stage config box/modal is missing high level features for customization. Before running that step, I want to know high level what is going to happen and have an opportunity to improve it. This could be like a "landing page" for each pipeline step that has these high level config options and a wizard like features to improve the quality of the output
- The natural place for styleguide generation is the storyboard step, where you are given the ability to choose pages and generate a style guide before running the full storyboard.
- Inspiration should be taken from the existing figma.
- Also optional steps need to communicate more clearly that they are not compulsory, as in they must be ADDED to the pipeline or enabled before being run.
- Have the PREVIEW and EXPORT in the top bar was also floated, however, preview is a pipeline stage that must be run before export is run. If you click on export it must run preview to ensure that works.
