Feature: line-number-display

One feature I'm currently looking into writing for mg is a line-number-display-mode (e.g. to the left of the buffer) and I was wondering if there has yet been any attempts on such a front.

I don't know what's been discussed in other forks but you could check the OpenBSD mailing lists, since OpenBSD is the upstream for this project.
