π Who am I, and where am I from?
I'm Jong-Ha Ahn (a.k.a. Mr. Latte β) β an independent software engineer based in Seoul, South Korea.
Since 2002, I've been shipping web, mobile, and cloud products end-to-end β from problem definition to launch and operations. Over the past 20+ years I've delivered 80+ projects, launched 9 of my own services, and authored 4 patents and papers, while writing technical content since 2005.
Trends change. The way you actually finish things doesn't.
You can find more about me at mrlatte.net.
π What am I working on?
Featured open source
The repos I'm currently building, maintaining, and shipping β old and new:
- lipcode (Rust) β A coding agent that lives in your terminal. Local-first via Ollama (your code never leaves your machine), with optional cloud fallback through OpenRouter. Multi-agent orchestration, cost-aware model routing, single binary, <20ms startup.
- inverseone-cli (Rust) β Market data for contrarian minds, straight from your terminal. Stock quotes, world indices (KOSPI, S&P 500, Nikkeiβ¦), FX rates, and commodities β no API key, no config. Powers the InverseOne platform. Available on crates.io.
- redmine_vote (Ruby) β A Stack Overflow-style up/down voting plugin for Redmine. Long-running maintenance project, still installed by teams who run their own Redmine instances.
- jquery-jsontotable (JavaScript) β Convert JSON into HTML tables with a single jQuery call. One of my earliest OSS projects and still my most-starred β a reminder of how long this work has been going.

π Why your sponsorship matters
I maintain my open-source projects in the time left over from running products and client work. Your sponsorship buys back that time β so issues get answered faster, plugins keep working with newer versions, and new tools actually ship instead of staying in my drafts folder.
Concretely, your funds go toward:
- β± Maintenance time β triaging issues, reviewing PRs, and keeping plugins compatible with new versions of jQuery, Redmine, and Node
- π€ New OSS tools β especially around AI-assisted development workflows and product automation
- π Infrastructure β servers, domains, and developer tools that keep the projects running
- π Free technical writing & tutorials β in both English and Korean, for the wider developer community
Even a $1 sponsorship is a real signal that this work is worth continuing. Thank you for considering it π
