OneDrive Client for Linux is free, open-source software that is independently developed and maintained.

The project provides Microsoft OneDrive synchronisation across Linux, FreeBSD and OpenBSD, supporting OneDrive Personal, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.

Sponsorship helps sustain ongoing development, Microsoft Graph compatibility work, regression and end-to-end testing, cross-platform validation, documentation and long-term project maintenance.

If you use OneDrive Client for Linux personally, sponsorship is a way to help keep the project healthy and actively maintained.

If your organisation relies on the client as part of its infrastructure or day-to-day operations, organisational sponsorship provides a way to contribute back to the open-source software on which you depend.
