Adding axis

Could there be an option to add an axis to the pictures? This would be especially helpful when making lat/long plots, to help pinpoint the geographical position of the plot.

Could you elaborate on your use case? Are you manually overlaying it on a base map or another data plot? Drawing coordinate axes with tick marks is a nice backup plan for when you have no choice but to eyeball everything and make manual adjustments, but I wonder if there isn't a better solution that's both more precise and easier to implement well.
