Is the release tagging still working?

I see there are constant updates, but no new release tag since November 2025.

Quick question - do you rely on it for breaking-change detection or for updates wholesale (like only consuming tags, never main)?

Based on that I can prioritize.

About recent patches - for some reason pip/torchaudio has changed such that it now installs 2.11.0 which is wildly too new, so that even existing and versions that used to work might break; I'm testing now to see if I need to apply more patches to stop it.

Made more fixes for torchaudio and released current changes as 0.5.1:
