Message publisher topic selector width too short and not expandable

It is very difficult to search through longer topic names in the topic selector inside the message publisher plugin. Some feature to allow hinting of the full topic name, or expansion of the dialogue, or placing it on a new line altogether; anything would be helpful so that more than a few number of characters can be read within the selection dialogue.
