Application vs. Transport Protocol naming scheme in Metasploit #20891
Description
Thoughts/wider discussion on renaming proto/protocol with application_protocol/communication_proto / something similar?
We made mistakes in the past mixing the communication/application (taken from the OSI model) protocol (DNS, HTTP, HTTPS) with the transport protocol (TCP, UDP)
