Bug: uniclip doesn't run on Android

Description of the bug

./uniclip doesn't work on Android

Verbose output (Use the --debug option)

error: "/data/data/com.termux/files/usr/bin/uniclip" has unexpected e_type: 2

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Termux
2. download via wget
3. tar -xf to extract
4. ./uniclip

Expected behavior

Should at least print the help message.

OS and Uniclip version

Android 14, uniclip v2.3.6

Additional info

The README instructions on the Android setup are incredibly vague. There has to be something I'm missing here...
I tried chmod +x, didn't help

I had the same issue, but it is in fact coming from Termux, cf this post.

Termux from Google Play? If so, uninstall and reinstall from F-Droid or GitHub.
Google Play build doesn't support running static binaries anymore.

wtf? Thanks a lot for telling me! I've switched to KDE Connect for now, but when I inevitably revisit this at some point I'll try with the F-Droid version.

In that case, please update the instructions in the readme to specify F-Droid/Github instead of explicitly mentioning the play store version of Termux.
Also, please make the Android instructions more detailed in general, how do I make uniclip run in the background permanently? Do I need to add it to some sort of autostart system? How am I supposed to install uniclip at all after installing the termux-api?
