In Python, we use the snake_case convention for variables, parameters, and attributes, and CamelCase only for class names.
Also, I think @simoneliuzzo is referring to both the configuration file (where you can apply a to_lowercase() transformation) and the code itself: the names of the parameters in the measure method of ChomaticityMonitor (and yes, the ‘r’ is missing after the ‘h’).
This should be checked by tools like ruff...

@gupichon , I was thinking this is about the config file only. In the code, we should try to stick to the snake_case and CamelCase as is the normal Python practice. I'm not sure we can use ruff to autocheck this because in some cases the convention will be broken (E can easily be understood as energy, but e is not. E=mc**2 is clearer to a physicist than energy=mc**2). I remember that in mbtrack2 (Alexis code), I wanted to change all variables to snake_case, but it did not make sense.
