Server Looks Promising, Clients are Not Doable #66

Dear Developer Team,
I am very much impressed with the transition from good ole' Pydio to Pydio Cells, and the server seems to work nicely on FreeBSD; there is even a port :-) !
The painful bit is the (sync) client domain. We cannot expect users to compile their client, and the binaries just fail cruelly on my Debian platform. Alas, a cloud file server is only as good as its non-web clients, and this has been a total show stopper so far.
Any thoughts about strategy at this point?
