Contrast low on nav menu links

I think I have clicked all these so this may just be for visited links, but contrast is a bit low:

Thanks @sneakers-the-rat my current PR should fix this and i also noticed it really needed to break to the hamburger at 1024 so i made that adjustment too.have a look after i merge to see if it looks better on your end!
