Additional Map Styles & Localized Names #1702

Description

@sv1sjp

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Yes. The default OpenStreetMap style renders place names in the local language/script of that region. While culturally accurate, it makes navigation incredibly difficult for international travelers or users unfamiliar with complex scripts (e.g., trying to identify locations in Japan, Greece, or Arabic-speaking regions if you only read Latin scripts).

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to add a "Map Style" selector in the settings to allow users to switch between different open map tile providers. The proposed options include:

  • OpenStreetMap (Default local language)
  • Clean - English place names (For easier international navigation)
  • Esri Street
  • Carto Voyager
  • OpenTopoMap (For topographic/terrain context)

Describe alternatives you've considered
Using browser translation tools, which do not work inside canvas- or tile-based map renderers.

Additional context
I have already added these map styles locally and verified they load correctly, but I wanted to ask first if anyone is really interested in such a solution.
