Photo Location Precision (Clustering Control) #1701

Description

@sv1sjp

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Yes. The problem: Currently, the map aggressively groups/clusters photos together to maximize loading speed. However, this causes photos taken relatively far apart to be lumped into a single large area marker. For users with large libraries who want to see exact routes or specific spots where photos were taken, this aggressive clustering destroys the geographical context and value of the map view.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like an option in the settings to control the precision of photo locations via a toggle or dropdown:

  • Low: Photos grouped into large areas (maximizing performance/speed).
  • Medium: A balanced approach.
  • High: Shows photos much closer to where they were actually taken, showing more markers on the map at once at the expense of some loading speed.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Leaving it as is, which compromises the utility of the map for users who prioritize geographical accuracy over raw loading speed.

Additional context
I have already implemented this feature, but I wanted to ask first if anyone is really interested in such a solution.
