Manage scheduled scans on Prowler Cloud with Pro license

I'm currently running a trial on Prowler Cloud with a Pro license and looking for guidance:

1. Is there a built-in way to manage Prowler scans to run during specific time windows?
2. What are the recommended approaches for controlling when scans execute?
3. Are there configuration options to limit scan duration or distribute scans across different periods?

Hi @IrinaMason,

1. No, Prowler Cloud doesn’t have built-in scheduling for scans. However, you can use a CronJob with calls to the Prowler API to automate scan execution during specific time windows.
2. You can monitor scans using the UI on the Scans page (see documentation) or directly with the API using the /scans and /tasks endpoints to check if scans are running or completed.
3. Currently, there are no built-in options to limit scan duration, and distributing scans across different periods would be handled the same way as in question 1.

Please keep in mind that you’ll need to disable the daily scan option for all of this to work.
