There are too many torrent sites.
IMO it's better to only add which are popular/trustworthy, unless makes no sense to download malware from some random torrent site. We need some kind of criteria to consider them "trustworthy".

Also create contributing.md or something for those who want to add their own choice of provider. And if some provider doesn't work/inactive/dead people can report and remove.
The intention is to load less on you about adding providers, so that you can focus on improving the app itself.

Create issue template for Enhancement (feature request), Bugs report, Providers (new providers support, removing old ones with reason), Blank (for any other type suggestion/discussion)

Best to use ngosang tracker list, rather than sites. I can see you have open-trackers listed, and ngosang updates the working trackers daily and I guess batch wise as well.
Raising a PR to add few more working open-trackers.

Also, please never use yify stuff. I will not go much into "why", but please stay away from anything to do with yify.

Sure, I know many of them are fake and not gonna implement all :). Also, before adding some new providers I want to first implement the settings screen with some necessary options including, to enable/disable providers.

For games only it's ByXatab, contains repacks from a well known Russian repacker, but he died so now there are mainly game folders and archives with emulators.
They are both trusted by Fmhy.net

@vdbhb59 .i2p is a hidden service TLD, you need the router to access it. https://geti2p.net/en/ (on android, InviZible is neat)

@endingisnight what I meant was, it does not work the way intended, and not every one Asia side is able to get that sorted at router level. That is one trouble. Having said that, I am not saying it should not be added. Jackett, Prowlerr etc have that. Region and ISP wide issue for some.

@vdbhb59 I think you might be misunderstanding what i2p is. I2P (like tor) is free, it does not need a special physical router. On android you can try the invizible app that routes your traffic over i2p. It's meant to anonimize and circuimvent censorship, so you can used it anywhere, including Asia.

It is similar to P2P tunnel, & is Java based.

I agree adding all these features to simple app like TorrentSearch is unnecessary. Following "Unix philosophy", Do one thing and do it well.
Users should use respective category (firewall, censorship circumvention, tor, vpn) apps separately for their system.

You're right, this app also dosen't work where I live and I won't tell you why.

The reason I recommended Invizible, is since it acts as a transparent proxy (if used as a VPN), meaning you wouldn't have to include the entirety of i2pd in the app and can just scrape i2p trackers like any other site. Or could just use the http proxy (provided by routers that are seperate apps) for the i2p tlds.

This site seems to be using JavaScript to load content. Currently, TorrentSearch only supports static sites :(.

Maybe but the current architecture of application is not suitable therefore a heavy refactor will be necessary.

I see in latest v0.4.6 InternetArchive provider was added. Is it possible to filter out the LibriVox audiobooks?

The Internet archive link also mentioned there: https://archive.org/details/autobiographyofayogi_2601_librivox

Also I can't find this audiobook torrent with InternetArchive provider turned. Didn't test other audiobooks.

InternetArchive is a really nice legit source, I'd suggest to enable by default. Though no strong opinion to add it to default list.
