Create a working C-only example like for Tufty2040

Hi! You're probably pretty busy after just releasing the new badges but:

i'm trying to port my existing c based tufty2040 project to the new badges due to arrive soon and it seems you have no c-only example like

available for tufty2350 yet?

Could you add/create one, or is it safe to use, for example, the pimoroni-pico st7789 drivers and pico_sdk_init() as before?

I think the main thing is to pull in the powman module, otherwise you can't switch it off!

You probably do also want the st7789 module from this repo to avoid the diagonal tearing problem.

Well porting it over as-is after doing some guesswork and binding lookups its pretty damn fast

(And still using original picographics!)

But a standalone c example would of course still be much preferred to get started, especially what to do with powman, battery readout, wifi/bluetooth basics without micropython etc.

Also why is the screen being handled as rgb565 again, but the entire framebuffer is 888(8)? Could we get an option for native 565 again then for that little extra speed and lower memory use? Or can the display actually handle full 888(8) this time if fixed later?

should the old driver with picographics still work then or did you use the new display driver ? I'm not sure what i'm missing but using the old driver and picographics i can't seem to let it display anything. I must be missing something

I've found out what was wrong you need to enable gpio pin 41 (POWER EN) i ported a quick & small game now also https://github.com/joyrider3774/formula1_tufty2350
