You can do, that would work in practice; but bear in mind PIE has metadata about builds (for upgrades, tracking PIE installs etc.) that you would lose out on that functionality. But - maybe that's okay in a single project type Dockerfile if you don't need those features though 👍 but yes, you'd need to ensure any system deps/libs are findable still 👍 |

hello,
I always try to make the lightest docker image as possible, to do that I usually do some multi-stage operation.
So is it possible/recommended to do it with pie? It's perhaps extension specific. But I assume if I have the required lib (perhaps so not the dev part), just copy the extension .so and the config would be enough, no? Or the cleaning involved by pie is good enough to by-pass this?
