Good idea! In the previous ReactFlow version we added URL hashing of the actual json file that way you can share a model without storing the file anywhere

However there was the caveat of long URL for large models (obviously) and it was hitting the request size limit, don't know if this is an issue with pyodide or not

I see. Thats not what I want to do. I just want to be able to give an url that points to a raw json somewhere. And then exactly the model should open in pathview. This scales much better and separates model saving from model sharing.

For demos / lectures / homework assignments / conference talks / tutorials this will also be great because the material can be adjusted, made available and also retracted easily.

I'm not saying we should not do what you initially proposed. I'm saying we could also allow URL sharing without storing a file somewhere

The benefit of not having to save a file is that you can share your model in one click

I can't remember really but I think it was reached pretty quickly for any "real life" problems. But again, maybe that's not a problem if we don't send server requests and everything is client-side.
