Explaining v3.l v3.p v4.l v4.p on paseto.io

New to https://paseto.io/, I can't understand what's v3 and v4. There should be a paragraph describing them at the top of the page.

No links in the screenshot explains clearly what it does. I never used JWT/JOSE before.

If you hover over them with your mouse, you will see "v3.l" expands to "v3.local" via alt text.

These refer to specific protocols. Not every library has implemented all of them. See https://github.com/paseto-standard/paseto-spec/tree/master/docs/01-Protocol-Versions for more information.
