Consider alternative names for new `scid` PURL type

The main issue:

• New scid PURL type for non-packaged software #516

proposes a new PURL type named: scid as an acronym for: "Software Component IDentification".
There are some community concerns that this name/aronym has an unfortunate homonym: "skid".
This issue is to collect ideas for alternative names for this new PURL type.

Note that while we want to keep PURL type values as short as possible, we are not limited to four characters.

• Register new PURL type: cid or sid for packages that do not have a registry #837

... I suggest these names:

• sid (software identifier) (working title for now) / could be confused with Windows SID - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/identity/ad-ds/manage/understand-security-identifiers
• cid (component identifier)
• spid (software package identifier)
• swc (software component)
• pid (product id - if we end up with separate types for FOSS and proprietary)
