Data transfer range between phone and watch

In order to get continuous data transfer from my phone to my watch I pretty well have to have my phone on my person or close by. Can the range be increased somehow or is that an issue with the Libre 2 plus sensor which only has a transmit range of 6 ft?

this depends on the watch and phone hardware and the Bluetooth range of these devices...
I do not know any extender.

But if you want to be independent of your phone, you can use Juggluco instead of the Libre app.
Juggluco also supports direct sensor to watch connection and forwards the value to GDH on watch, too.
And it is working offline on phone and watch.

I´m using Juggluco in connection with Libre 3 and it is working great.
