Description

This is a Rust crate that makes it easy to export functions as a Typst WASM plugin, and a collection of Plugin examples in other languages.

Discussion on this move has started here, and @YDX-2147483647 has indicated they would take care of the repo. That said, the focus would likely become providing more examples in other programming languages, so the future of this repo would hopefully be getting diverse contributions by various people, and these contributions should not depend on a single maintainer reviewing them all.

Passive maintenance would be fine, if @YDX-2147483647 is ok with it, they could be added as the project maintainer and as a nursery team member. If it were active maintenance, then we'd leave the nursery out of this. Let me know what you guys think, others are welcome to volunteer too of course.

I prefer passive maintenance.
I think the main work at present is to update CI versions (for instance, the version of typst being tested is still 0.13.1) and test the new haskell example. This should not involve publishing a new version to crates.io.

(Oh, I just realized that the word they here is used to refer to a single person…)

By the way, I suggest renaming the master branch to main after the repo is transferred. main is the majority nowadays. It's less controversial and easier to type.

Now I don't think so.
The last version (v0.1.0) on crates.io was published in 2024-10, but according to the comparison below, crates/macro/src/lib.rs had been edited nontrivially before the transfer.
Therefore, I believe it is necessary to release a new version as soon as possible.

I wonder if we actually need to change anything else about releases that are done manually? Will these work because of the transfer or are they still tied to @astrale-sharp on crates.io?
