Cleanup deleted data: Unable to re-index event [deleted long time ago] Unable to re-index event

Hi,
every now and then, we re-index our Opencast using /index/rebuild and it's always like the Ghost of Christmas Past as all events we ever deleted show up as Unable to re-index event [deleted long time ago] Unable to re-index event.

Is there a way to get rid of those entirely? Is there a clean up script?

We noticed that some references to deleted events are still stored in the opencast.oc_job table.

Getting all those scary messages is not only not nice but it's easy to miss the important ones: Events that should exist but fail to reindex.
