If you can copy-paste the tracking data you can pretty easily add it to a value inside the expressions editor and turn it into X/Y position values... I guess you may also need rotation but it can be done. Once you have the script then you can save it as a Preset and reuse it as many times as you want just changing the input data value 😄 more info about expressions: https://friction.graphics/documentation/expressions.html |

Hi everyone,
I tried friction, and I've been blown away by the ease of use and the good performances it can get.
I was wondering if motion tracking could ever be a thing in friction : I'm in love with the layer-based interface, and it would be a dream to attach tracking data to a null object to make 2d animation in a live action footage.
I know it can be kind of possible to do it by using Natron like Rodiie said here :

...but Natron struggles with my computer where friction runs like a charm, and I didn't manage to install the add-on...
