UI Improvement: Option for a Minimalist/Simplified Interface Mode

Describe feature

The current Trilium UI, while powerful, can feel visually overloaded, especially for users who prefer a cleaner, distraction-free workspace.
What is your opinion about that?

@towajoy446 , we've already made a great effort to simplify the user interface with the new layout. Can you describe in more detail what your request is?

Also, have you tried the Zen Mode? You can access it from the global menu and it should already provide a cleaner, distraction-free environment.

Another thing would be to remove duplicate settings on the left when you click on the Trillium flower

Could you specify which duplicate settings you noticed?

Then you export notes in the notetree you have also an export menu for every note at .... Menu

This is more for convenience actually. They are not really the same, since one exports the selected note in the tree whereas the other one exports the current note.

Hmm, by toolbar do you mean the launch bar (where the Trilium logo is)? If so, this is already customizable, see https://docs.triliumnotes.org/user-guide/concepts/ui/launch-bar#configuring-the-desktop-launch-bar.

I mean the bar in the texteditor

Maybe i think there are duplicates because im relativly new to Trilium and i yust dont know what some features do and some not becuse trilium as alot more features that a basic note application

Absolutely, Trilium is more of a personal knowledge base software than a note-taking application, so it has a lot of advanced features.
