Appimages takes a very long time when I want to open a file. Which forces me to close the app.

I am using appimages and since upgrading to ubuntu 24.04.1 I have a problem.
Indeed, when I want to open, import, save a file, the dialog box takes a very long time to open, so long that Ubuntu sends me an alert to force me to quit the app.
It does it to me as well with Krita, Shortcut, Musescore or Sonic Visualiser. On the other hand, Audacity does not seem to be affected.
I reinstalled these software in snap or flatpak but I would prefer to use them in appimage, which I find practical.
I'm a bit lost.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello @MisterJej. Can you reproduce this using Ubuntu Live ISOs?

• Does https://releases.ubuntu.com/noble/ubuntu-24.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso have the issue?
• Previous LTS release: Does https://releases.ubuntu.com/jammy/ubuntu-22.04.5-desktop-amd64.iso already have the issue?
• Subsequent non-LTS release: Does https://releases.ubuntu.com/oracular/ubuntu-24.10-desktop-amd64.iso still have the issue?

I've got the same issue with the first release https://releases.ubuntu.com/noble/ubuntu-24.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso .
I couldn't try the others.
All I can say is I didn't have this issue with Ubuntu 22.04.
I made a mistake in my first post, Musescore work fine but Krita, Gimp, Shortcut or Sonicvisualiser are unusable in their current state.

I don't know what means --appimage-version.
I ran Krita appimage in the terminal and I had that answer :

What does ./krita-5.2.9-x86_64.AppImage --appimage-version say? The same for the AppImages that have and that don't have the issue. Do you see any pattern there?

I've tried some app with --appimage-version.
At first, I found that Krita and Scribus, app that have the issue, had the same version : Version: 8bbf694.
Then I've tried some other app that works fine and I found these apps had another version : Version: 5735cc5.
I thought OK, it's a pattern... !
But, sadly, with Shotcut, that have the same issue, the --appimage-version return....Version: 5735cc5... Back to the start !!

Sorry for my poor English but I'm french and as you know, french and languages have some difficulties...
