I built Codex Context HUD, a small open-source companion for Codex Desktop on Windows.
It keeps Codex's native context ring and adds two compact indicators immediately to its left:
The HUD follows the native composer when switching tasks or opening and closing sidebars. After a task switch, it waits for the new statistics before playing the update animation, so values do not jump midway through the transition.
